Falling from the sky in Byron Bay
... wait and said that because there were big groups that wanted to stay together, we had been pushed back for our dive, so we had another hour to wait. I wasn’t very impressed by this but we couldn’t do anything about it and they gave us a free t-shirt for the inconvenience. Mount Warning!
... it!! The mountain is also called the 'Cloud Catcher' and after hiking that baby we found out why..We literately were in the clouds, they brushed past our faces! The mountain is the worlds oldest and largest extinct volcano. It took 2 and a half hours to get to the top of that volcano and let me tell you it was a workout but totally and 100% worth it!
By the time we got to the top the sun was just rising and the view was unreal!

Sun, sea, sand...and hippies.
... There is also a Nimbin museum...probably the strangest thing I've ever seen. Really a bizarre town. It's quite ironic that hippies, and those seeking an 'alternative' lifestyle all end up in a kind of uniform of wierd, multicoloured and ill-fitting clothes. I wonder if there are any stylish hippies?
The hostel I stayed in was really cool - every night they organised some sort of activity/outing...karaoke (which as you can imagine I joined in whole heartedly), bingo ...
