Mackenzie, our Whitehorse couchsurfing host, was awake when we arrived at 4am in the morning. We chatted for a while and fell asleep at 6 am. At 1pm we awoke from our slumber and went out for lunch with Mackenzie. He is a genuinely nice guy who is difficult to figure out. Ok, I think I have a new favorite city. (or at least in the top few) - Haines, Alaska! Our campsite had a beautiful view of a lake and mountains and it was nearby a river.
