... despite the book, we ran into one of our first challenges; trying to buy gas at a gas station that is not configured properly for large travel trailers. Although John is getting really good at negotiating turns with the truck and trailer, it was not possible to drive our rig next to the pumps without taking out part of the station. Rather than doing that, we had to pass on that station and go on to the next exit.
