... for lunch at the Telford Inn, which is by the Trevor basin canal boat base and a highly recommended spot, before waddling over the adjacent, and very scary, Pontcysyllte aqueduct. Although the path is wide and the canal is between you and the unfenced drop on the other side , it is noticeable that everyone does like to hold on to the railings!

Need to find suitcase, Immodium, Diaralyte.....pack 12 pairs of shoes (just to compete with Megan)

So we're starting this little trip tomorrow.

I guess it's only right to start a little record of all the events that follow. There are a number of reasons for this. One is so people know where we are, and also so somewhere down the line, when nostalgia strikes, I can read this back and judge my use of the English language.

... and Strawberry fields! We learned a lot of interesting Beatles history, so much that it's hard for me to pinpoint any one ineteresting fact. After the tour we were dropped at the Cavern, a famous venue in Liverpool where many artists have played (including the Beatles, Elton John, Eric Clapton, Adele... pretty much anyone you can think of!)
