Today was a very interesting day. Mostly hot hiking until we came across a piped spring and met an amazing individual. His name was Robert and he was day hiking with his beautiful black lab Bently. We shared stories and lightly got to know one another with many similarities. Fort Worth ties, Ketchikan ties, plenty of overlap. He gave us plenty of beta on upcoming miles and caches up the way. Today we drove home. I'm sorry it's over, seems like only yesterday I left here.

Now it's laundry and getting ready for work tomorrow.
I'm ready for the next trip, probably up though Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and the Dakotas!
