      A lot happened today! I kind of don't know where to start! I stood on the front lawn of the house that starred in the Goonies! It was so amazing and we even got to talk to the husband of the lady who owns it. She bought it in 2001 after moving up from California.       8/24 was our first full day in Long Beach. We decided to take a ride to Oregon. The town of Astoria, OR is only 1/2 hour away. We took Route 103/101 through the towns of Seaview, Illwaco, Chinook and then crossed a 4.1 mile bridge crossing over the Columbia River into the town of Astoria.
