... the first of many for the weekend and I will be having these continually, whenever possible for the rest of my stay in Canada.

We then caught a bus to Mount Douglas. This hike had been recommended to Dan by a new friend made through his training during the week. There was no food on this ferry because apparently the contract expired and was not renewed. A long 3 hour trip. I was depending on having food on the ferry but that didn't happen but I did manage to pull a piece of bread out of the refrigerator. After 2.5 hours once we got off the ferry ...

... the end if he'd ever been to York in the UK and walked the tour there, which is brilliantly done, and not only had he, but said that it had inspired him and his dad to do some research into Victoria's past and set up their business. And that is exactly what it is, and how I chose to view it, they're making money (it wasn't cheap at $14) by providing entertainment to tourists, and you get to see and hear about a side of the city that you mightn't otherwise. Finally walking ...
