      ... is much more tolerable. Poutine is French fries with cheddar cheese curds, ( like chunks of mild cheddar) and gravy. The gravy in quebec is very light. That made more edible for me. Then we took off for Knowlton, Lac Brome which is where Louise Penny lives. We have stayed the last two nights at the Auberge Du Lac Brome. It is about 5 miles from the small town and directly across from Lac Brome. The lake is beautiful and ...

      Today was an even later wake up for the kids. I guess they were tired from all the boating they did yesterday. We're leaving today, but not until evening.       We were all tired and got up after 9:00 this morning. It was a day long beach day. Peter took the kids out on the power boat all day long, only coming back in to get lunch.       ... catholic churches we've ever seen, Saint Mary Star of the Sea!!
      After this we continued our day trip to Lake Willoughby, a beautiful lake created by the glaciers!! Where we joined the locals & went swimming!! It was a warm day - 78 degrees - perfect for a swim in a cool mountain lake! I found the most incredible rock in this lake, I'll treasure forever!!
