... Mallory's house!" lol! Silly girl was in love with that sweet little cat!

We parked in a public parking lot along the Grand River and walked the boardwalk down to the beach. It was nice taking in the scenery, seeing the river and the boats, seeing the downtown area, seeing the coast guard station and memorial, and seeing the lighthouse and beach in the distance, looking back on it we definitely should've parked closer as it was almost a mile walk to the beach from where we were. ...

It was great fun and the whole car got a kick out of the 2 "Red Hat Ladies" trying to climb in and out of the darn thing. Glad we only stopped a couple of times, I couldn't have climbed in and out many more times.
ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.
More tomorrow. ...

... packed up the tent, said goodbye to the Forest, caught part of Moby's set (a little disappointing. While his albums keep his trance-y music feel, his live performance was much more dub-steppy. It was cool to be able to see him though), and went to leave the festival.

Before we left, though, we made sure to leave a note for our Philly friends, apologizing for leaving without saying goodbye and explaining that they turned the festival from a C+ to an A- for ...
