... say a word(I quickly learned to go with it and laughed it off). I soon realized that I was stepping out of the world I knew and to a complete new.

Upon my arrival in Dusseldorf, I entered the fashion world of black, navy, grey, and white clothing. It is true, there is not a lot of color in the fashion here and pretty dressy compared to back home! ... both of us…

When we arrived on the lot, it was drizzling rain and Alex was wearing his rain suit to park us. Since it was laundry day and we felt no need to rush out of there in the rain to load up the Excursion, we set an alarm and went back to bed.

ANOTHER EARLY START TOMORROW - we catch the ferry from Muskegon to Milwaukee tomorrow morning.
More tomorrow. ...

And so that was the end of the festival for us. We drove to a rest stop and the following morning went to a diner for breakfast (where we saw other Foresters) and I dropped John off at the airport before going back to the farm. Electric Forest was a wonderful experience to have, and while I wasn't overly-zealous about the idea when we got there, I would not trade the experience for a shirt signed by every performer at the festival.

  • I had the time of my life.
  • I got to see my favorite artists perform like Steve Aoki and Bassnectar.
  • REO Speedwagon was even there!
  • We sold out of our jewelry in 2 days and made a whopping $2000.
  • Now we get to take our time getting back home and actually do stuff on our road trip.
  • We got out of there at 1:00 P.M.
