My last week has been spent saying goodbye to great people, packing up everything I own, and leaving the city of Denver, Colorado that I've called home for the last (almost) 2 years. They live in the Roosevelt neighborhood of Seattle, a place of narrow streets and lovely old (and some newer) homes, most of whom are gorgeous craftsmen. ... control! Most patients are in individual rooms - I was told this was due to infection control. It was nice for the patients but everyone was so spread out and it was hard for the nurses to keep an eye on their patients, especially those at risk of falling.
