... which being over 300 feet from the bridge. What an engineering feat it would have been quite impressive to have seen it during construction. It is still open to the public so we were able to travel across and enjoy the awesome view and snap some cool photos. When we reached the other side a wide network of hiking trails were there so we went along for a kilometer or so before we turned around and headed back to town as the sun was setting by this point.

So we slept in today....9 AM, it is pretty tough to last much longer than that lazing away, the sun is shining in through the bedroom window and the activity on the street below mixed in with the birds chirping makes you feel alive and you feel like a bum staying in bed. We are enjoying a nice lazy day overall though thus far, I think this will be the official first day to leave the car parked.

I was leaning on the fence quite a bit towards going to Milan today for a soccer game, the only issue is that Milan is 5 1/2 hours from here, if driving wasn't quite so crazy and I actually had a reason to go other than curiosity I probably would have done it but we opted instead to do some more exploring a little closer to home.
