... there before...... the soles of our feet were raw by the end of the day!!

Lia had an absolute ball - she'd been counting down sleeps for months.... Nuka also had a blast but seemed to wane in the middle of the day, she's developed some sort of allergy and has a rash all over her face.... Being in the sun all day hasn't helped I'm afraid.....

It's our last night at Etna Mare, sadly, tomorrow we pack up and head South......

... the end of siesta, or so we thought.....

Again, we parked at the foot of the town and set off on foot to look for pistachio delicacies and a toilet for Lia. Fifteen minutes later, it became apparent that this town didn't wake up until 4.30, and Lia's increasingly high-pitched enquiries as to the closest toilet made me start looking down narrow alleyways for a covered spot. At 8.00am we were driven by a chauffeur to the airport. We checked in with no wait at all and went to explore the airport which took about 10 minutes! Our plane left at 10.55am and was a smooth flight arriving in Catania at 11.50am. We then boarded a bus which took us to the terminal. We waited 30 minutes for the luggage to arrive on the conveyor. Seeing that it is summer in America and Europe, I cant brag to you about the beautiful sunny warm weather, but I can say that the location was one of the most beautiful places that I have seen. Both from the top of the mountain in Taormina to the beach in Nexos. To God be the glory for creating such a beautiful world! Next stop: Switzerland!
