... building was an old church from the 2nd century. It was most likely pagan and was quite small. Still fun to see all these little treasures that lie beneath the streets of Rome!

We ended our day with a second visit to the Trevi Fountain, where we were able to sit on the side and dip our feet into the cool water. It felt so good, especially after walking all day on the dusty streets of the Roman Forum! We tossed in coins for good luck before leaving! ...
