... I managed to snap the nose of Brendan's board not five minutes after I paddled out. This was mental considering I had ridden this board for a month now, got pounded hundreds of times, and never even put a scratch on it...but somehow on this day I managed to snap the nose off. Oops...thankfully nobody had any special attachment to this board, so no one was worried about me snapping it, but i felt bad nonetheless. My bad Brendan...but it was a fabulous day!
... let her go in quite deep water and banged my right lower leg. The pain was excruciating but I managed to deliver her to shore unscathed before returning to the water to ease the pain. Luckily, the lifeguard was still on duty and so I hobbled up the beach on Uwe's arm to receive first aid.
