... that took us along the ocean. We paused at a few places to see if there were any whales in the distance. The only thing we ended up seeing was a farm house that was actually a disguised radar operation during WWII. No whales today. The drive was again pretty though. We could have spent days there and still not gotten sick of seeing the huge trees.

... and viewpoints. It was beautiful! We think we heard a bear huffing in the woods above us, but didn't see any other signs of wildlife. There had been sightings of both bear and cougars according to the trail guide. We are sore, tired, and have a great feeling of accomplishment. Next time I'll be more careful about reading route info and make sure I look at a topographic map. I still plan to do 15 miles in a day before I head to the UK.
