Our last day in Juneau was going to be a long one as we didn't board our ferry to Sitka until midnight for its 1:30am departure. Once again we had scheduled our glacier viewing for what was expected to be the sunniest day. Sure enough the sky was a bright blue when we awoke. Did a tour this pm, went on a city tour, spread over 40 Miles along the Coast and Island .Saw a little church built by some Nuns, in the 30's, very remote and peaceful. Also went to a glacier inland, maidenhall Glacier, with a waterfall beside it, and a inland lake below it, with some icebergs in it, over winter it freezes and they skate on the lake.
