Today was spent with packing and repacking suitcases in order to accomadate our clothes and little souvenirs.

We had our farewell dinner in Cape Coral at Fords Garage. The service was great, the hamburgers were scrumptious and the choices of beer amazing.

We spent our last evening on the patio, observing another thunderstorm and wondering when we will be back.

From the outside it didn't look anything like a pub, but once inside it looked and felt like a very spacious pub. It was packed for the quiz, which is run single handedly by the landlord every Wednesday evening. He knew every quiz member from at least ten teams of up to eight people. Nicole, the barmaid knew our table's order for drinks and called me by my name each time she ...

... still battling strong winds, it all became clear.

Day 2 was the day the fun and adventure really began. We started off negotiating the 16 hanging bridges across the jungle canopy. I'm sure they didn't conform to EU health and safety standards, but, hey, it's great to get back to a life unburdened by bureaucracy and unnecessary rules protecting ourselves from our own stupidity. If you fall off the unguarded platforms, try not standing so close to the ...

Now that Pat and Sally have moved this past year, it will be hard to return in March and not see their beautiful smiling faces at BSF and at the gym. I miss you guys. Pat moved to Tennessee and Sally moved to North Carolina. Kay and I will have to carry on with the other 300 ladies ...
