    We departed the Lowell area across Hwy 2 towards Western Massachusetts, entering the Mohawk Trail across the Berkshires. We were welcomed with beautiful color, muted by the rains, yet nothing like we have seen before. I shot some iPhone photos which are below. We looked for possible campsite but everything was shut down for RV's like us.

Supper at the "Chopsticks", the local Chinese, Japanese and Korean eatery, very nice and reasonable.
