The sun is still raising and so we decided to go to Aker Brygge. Walking towards there, we saw the Oslo City Hall (Rådhus) and the Fortress (Akershus Festning).

Virando a esquina, chegamos ao Ice Bar. Novidade para mim e repeteco p/ a minha mãe que já conhecia o de Estocolmo.

A temperatura no bar é de -5C e mesmo com capa e luvas apropriadas, 20 min são suficientes.

A música que toca no bar é dançante, tipo flashback.

Tivemos direito a um drink cada e fiz questão de escolher coloridos ...

DFDS gave us a disabled person’s cabin for the overnight crossing from Newcastle to Stavanger. I am sure it was Chris they thought needed all the hand rails etc. rather than me, but whatever the reason, the 2 proper beds and large shower room was a plus, so were the mill pond conditions of the North Sea.

... beautiful so Ted and I thought it would be a great place for dinner. After walking around for a while, we had to settle on the only place that was open…AGAIN!! I’m too embarrassed to mention it here. C’mon Europe – open your restaurants so we don’t have to keep giving our hard earned dollars to this child labour fast food enterprise!

The drive back was a breeze and, as we could return the car late, Ted was keen to arrive in Oslo ...
