... called The Art of Dr Seus. It turns out the real Dr Seus lived in nearby La Jolla after WW2 until his death. He also painted as a serious artist, and the museum had some of his artwork, They also had a really interesting 30 minute movie on the creation of Balboa Park. Most of the Balboa park history is tied to an exposition held there in 1915 to celebrate the opening of the Panama Canal. With the Panama Canal open, San ...

Of course it was the Red River Hog that stole the show with its comic relief. The park is 1800 acres with many vistas – valleys and mountains as well as the animals’ compounds and is quite beautiful. After many hours we headed back and along the shore with a stop at Torrey Pines Golf Course, a drive through La Jolla, and a walk out the Crystal Pier ...

Today is a formal night in the Rotterdam dining room, met a nice couple from Australia. The movie tonight was Jersey Boys, about The Four Seasons, it was a very good movie so not sure why it didn't stay in the theatre very long.
