          ... a glimpse of a whale breaching several times just off the coast! We managed to cover 100 miles and reached San Simeon just after sunset. Pulling into the nature reserves camp site was self check in and looked rather deserted... Still we worked out where everything was and parked up for the night (it was pretty cheap compared to others) next to the showers and toilets...but oh... We didn't check the doors...
