Exploring Edinburgh

A travel blog entry by mcffamily

... village many years ago. From what I recall, it was a similar length walk, but she actually had to get in and scrub the clothes against the rocks to get them clean. It put my walk, carrying a full bag of clothes in the hot sun, into perspective. At least I can sit here and read/write and drink my Starbucks frappucinno while the machines do the work ;-)

Filled with mostly war exhibits, all of which are very similiar to eachother, it had no stories to tell of its regal past. There is also very limited access to significant portions of the castle.

Disenchanted, we left with our collars up and our heads down against Scotland's blistering rain and wind. It was the strangest weather I have ever seen.

Ever ...
