Freedom!!! Scotland bound MONDAY 6th JULY Determined not to miss our train to Scotland, we learnt from the previous day's experience and arrived at the train station a little earlier and our cunning ploy worked like a charm and we made the train. ... city, called Mary King’s Close, which is said to be inhabited by ghosts. Visitors leave dolls for the young ghost to play with, and the pile of dolls included Sponge Bob, a very old Barbie and a photo of Harry Styles (Alanna’s future husband). Finally, we had dinner at Frankie & Benny’s restaurant.

... beloved dog in England. In behind there was the Greyfriar cemetery. This is where JK Rowling got her inspiration for some her characters, most notably Tom Riddle! Her daughter attended the private school near the gates, and it's said that she based Hogwarts off the building! We had a wonderful guide that showed us various interesting graves & those related to Harry Potter.

... 500 times better, and you could definitely feel it in the air if you were skeptical. The whole city had that medieval feel; at some points there were no modern buildings in sight, and you could get lost in the architect and towering buildings (after research I found out there is a whole underground vault system so now I obviously have to go back). While walking through the cemetery, we were told the story of Greyfriars Bobby, visited his grave and memorial, ...
