February 21st - Montevideo, Uruguay After two days at sea we arrived at our first port of call - Montevideo, Uruguay. We were surprised to see a news crew covering the ships arrival as we disembarked. Montevideo is not a small city (1.8 million people live here) so we guessed it must have just been a slow week in the news. Once we were all seated, the doors opened and in stepped a couple of very large body guards, followed by Jared, who was wearing a toque (Maybe to stave off weird comments about his hair? lol).

... long before us, so she waited in our gate, and even slept on the window ledge there.

We ate at a burger place right next to our gate, and then waited a little while for our flight. The sun was setting, so we got to watch the sunset for a little while until it was time to board. Then, finally we got to board the plane to Zürich, Switzerland.

Finally, we were on our way to Europe!
