We started our trek up the royal mile surrounded by incredibly friendly scottish people, tourists, you name it. We got to the castle, and while 14 pounds to get in, it was well worth it. Okay, I'm not actually writing this entry from Edinburgh; however, I did spend the weekend there and it was AMAZING. For those of you whose geography may be a bit rusty, Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland and located a couple hundred miles north of where I am now.
