Without even trying, we managed to find ourselves in a city on another holiday - this time a Bank holiday in England. Given we were staying in the financial district, it was a quiet day! We started the day with a tour of Buckingham Palace. This was their 'summer opening' as QE2 isn't in residence. Before all that, a pleasant easy drive to the Park Inn Hotel at Heathrow. My first venture into booking cheap mystery hotels online.Works- nice hotel.
My Boys are very excited but now they have discovered the WiFi in the room, they revert back to stare zombies- at least it's peaceful I suppose.

... 70. The house is like Coronation Street which is the norm in London. However, after having to share a double bed in Rome, I have the luxury of my own room. It was also good to get the washing done. Although the backyard is only 5 metre’s wide it does go along way back.

He enjoyed himself immensely, which made it all worthwhile. We had a few minutes for souvenirs and then it was back on the train for the hour ride back to London.
