Walked through part of the Christmas Markets that are next to the tower and then went to get some food for dinner at the grocery store (hard to find fresh food here, pretty much everything in the grocery stores is frozen/ pre packaged!). Before I left Toronto, a friend of mine who'd been to Scotland asked me to email her a description of my reaction upon arriving in Edinburgh.
