... Check out the photos to see the amazing castle that is there. After Bamburgh we continued on into Scotland and headed towards the city of Edinburgh. Edinburgh is a great place. It's called a huge park called Holyrood Park and in the middle of it is a huge extinct volcano that you can climb. The highest peak is called ...

... our garmin and I got on the same page... that is we were NOT walking to Edinburgh, we were going to drive. The trip was very enjoyable, through rolling hills and farmland for 200 miles in mostly sunny weather, (although the temperature was only about 16 celcius). We actually got within 100 yds of the North Sea along the way and near the Firth of Forth when arriving in Edinburgh. The highway was much like at home with 2 lanes on each side ...

... went on the computer for a bit and then decided it was time for bed because I have an early start tomorrow on my tour!! Yay, getting excited!! The only thing is I wish I had more time because I would have loved to see Elephant house, where J.K Rowling wrote her books and also would have loved to see the grave yard where she got some of the names from her books from oh and go inside the castle. That would have been great but oh well. It gives me another reason to come back here one ...
