    ... of tour. Reasons it was amazing and things I learned/loved... 1) Russell, the tour guide, said the word "rubbish" constantly. 2) Learned some interesting city facts! Edinburgh built a wall around the city to protect themselves, but the city became so populated that they ran outta room for people.     ... put on their free shows to anyone who would take the hour to listen to them. They were hilarious. We totally enjoyed the shows. We bought a pint, carried it into a hot and crowded room and perched on folding chairs with 50 others and laughed our heads off. I don't remember their names, but it was a great day!

    ... it started to climb. It then dropped the stick! Noooo!!!! Fortunately a branch below caught the stick. So the bird made its way down, picked it up again and started its climb (again) toward its goal.
    I couldn’t wait until the end as I was on my way to work, but I thought ‘what a wonderful sight – Spring must be here’.
    (NB: Later I learned the ‘magpies’ here eat the young of finches, so not impressed, but hey ho! Life goes on)
