... rooms", varied in size and formation and were all incredible.



The natural formations were both beautiful and mysterious and the pale, emerald-green pools reflected their erie forms. I'm sure you've heard the saying, "Any day above ground is a good day." Well, we had a very good day below ground.

... First, the O. Henry House orginally built by German immigrant. Second, the Guenther House, the home a German mill owner. Third, Steves Homestead, the home of another wealthy German immigrant. And finally, King William Street named after Kaiser Wilhelm. Most old houses in that neighborhood were built by German immigrants of the 19th century. For breakfast at the motel I could select from donuts, muffins, waffels, and
bananas. Of course, no low carb options! However, the waffels were good as you
could make them yourself (see photo).

Now for lunch and dinner you can choose between Mexican or Texas BBQ. Mexican
basically means tacos or enchiladas, both always served with rice and black
beans. BBQ options are steak or ribs.

... much better. We had a terrific guide who explained the history of the walk Started in 1938, the Riverwalk has become a world renowned tourist attraction in it's own right, connecting many of the cities most popular venues.

... Great if you want a Sombrero or a Rey Mysterio mask but not good for much else. All the shops had the same stuff in them. Needless to say, I did not part ways with any cash here.

We then headed downtown to check out the historic Alamo site. This was amazing and I would highly recommend anyone coming down to see this national treasure if you are ever in San Antonio.
