It's been a good time here in Glasgow - I have gotten to know this large city of 600,000 fairly well, particularly the west end. I took the tourist bus tour and sat on top, which gives you a wonderful perspective of all the sites. I have now been to several pubs and have reached the conclusion that while I like pub food, I really like Indian curry …

We ended our day in Glasgow where we'll be spending two nights. We got out and did a little sightseeing on our own. We were able to see George Square and the Glasgow Cathedral before coming back to the hotel. After a light dinner, I'm wiped out and about ready to hit the hay! This fresh air is wearing me out!! 80% chance of rain tomorrow, so thank goodness for that umbrella! See you tomorrow in Edinburgh!!

... to Boston who gave us lots of tips. I was in window seat and the view of Greenland out the window was amazing , glaciers everywhere ! I took a couple of photos on my phone but they not very good then swaped seats with him to let him take photos with his iphone4 . He got fab photos but couldn't believe I didn't have "bump" on my phone ! ...

... building is amazing! For example the vaulted ceilings and domes are decorated with more than 1.5 million mosaic tiles. We came back to Waxy O'Connor's for dinner which was very busy and noisy but well worth the wait for our food. Big screens showed the game live and, as Andy says, we lost two goals.
