We got up at 7:15 AM today but got started around 8:30 AM. Today was the last day of our hike so our packs felt lighter and we didn't fill up our water bladders. We had figured, from the map, the car was 9 miles away and that we could drop pack at the car before finishing the last 4 miles.

The water their didn't look very appetizing so we decided to move ahead and find water elsewhere. The perfect resting and water fill creek was found at mark #7 on the Hoosier Hiking Councils map. We saw many other creeks that entire day but not as nice as this one.

      Day 13 icy cold bits......

A travel blog entry by hilton.janine on Feb 14, 2015

... jumped in the car and headed down to Greenwood Indiana. Janine has learnt very quickly to enjoy the benefit of seat warmers...... The drive south was cold with some nasty looking snow clouds threatening us. We arrived at Amy and Tim's house who were rotarians we had hosted for a few nights last year while they were travelling Queensland. We then headed out to the local brewhouse for some dinner and a few ...
