... 4-lane highway, complete with a new bridge over the bay. As we got closer to the I-10 we could see just how much of the forest was removed to allow room for the new road.

... nice gazebo with a picnic table to enjoy! We discovered why the park was given its name. They had magnificent 300 year old oak trees for which I have taken a pic for you. Moss covered the limbs and draped the tree limbs in all their glory. Took a pic for your viewing enjoyment.
