Waste of time!

... little things with quality of construction/work on the new unit. Wood finish much nicer on Max; WTH! There's a hole in the floor beside the passenger slide.....told that was so techs could get to water lines and electric lines if needed to repair them (put a piece of carpet there to cover it up); wood used in drawers felt thinner.

Finally ready to leave ...

... guide' to our spot which was long and level, but narrow. Had to swing the coach out on a narrow entry road to get it between the concrete pad and electric post. There was a 3 ft high set of 4 metal electric pipes beside the entry road that I caught the back end of Max on. Wouldn't have been bad except it had been hit before and the top was bent out and the ends were rolled up. So Max now has a 'boo'. Nothing major, but an irritant.

... the state. It's historic, scenic, and interesting to spend a day in Tallahassee..... then move on. Since we knew the RV couldn't fit downtown near the capital, we GPS'ed the local Walmart with a huge parking lot and some nice shade trees -- Kitty got to spend some of her time napping. It was fun to stop and see our state capitol, since we ARE residents. Touring the inside we got to step out ...

... some camping but the accommodation was cheaper then I had anticipated and the convenience of travelling all day and rolling into a hotel was better then having to setup a tent. My schedule seemed a little too tight too. There was just too much ground I needed to cover and camping was very involved. Plus there's bears.

... and decide to stop for the night in Perry. We didn't see much of it, but decided to stay in a best western which looked nice, the hotel attendant was very nice, Piper, we checked in and were pleasantly surprised when she discounted the rate by 50% and then proceeded to upgrade us to a suite. Very kind southern hospitality ... Room was nice, big and gave us a little space also. We set off around 9:00am Monday for Nth Carolina to see wades ...
