... maybe he was thinking of his own boat in Gippsland, and how small the Tambo River is in comparison and King Lake although big also pales by comparison.

As we strolled back towards the car the sounds of a merry-go-round drew us to investigate. It was in an open sided pavilion I guess you'd call it. Memories of show grounds and fairs invoked happy smiles of our long ago youth!

... with good company rather than a motel. Jo, his wife and adorable kid settled us in before we all went out to the local Mexican restaurant for dinner. He told us how he had set up a community of around 20 people who all live together in the same neighbourhood and share the houses. They renovate them all together and try to live a fully sustainable lifestyle. Sounded like a pretty happy lifestyle! ...

We finally made it to Canada!
We (Thanks to Gail and Jerry yet again) drove to the Canadian side of Niagra Falls so that we can have the best view. The American Falls and Horseshoe Falls can best be seen from this side. I must say that it was really neat to watch Mikes face light up when he first saw them. He really had no idea how huge they are.
