My dad had already earned the sticker proclaiming "This car climbed Mt. Washington" on a previous trip, but he wanted to get back to the top to share the experience with Tuukka the puppy, and myself.

Tuukka had a feeling this was going to be an exciting trip and barked enthusiastically at the booth attendant at the base of the mountain road.

Once the pleasantries were exchanged we were off and up the mountain, traveling on a road that at times could ...

Adding to the spectacle, adjacent to the falls was a large sheet of ice/snow clinging to the rocks, which looked like it could come tumbling down at any minute. Kelly decided at noon she hadn't had enough yet..incredible. So she was on line for the lift and the operator checking passes looked at her tickets and told her she has a morning-only ticket and she has to leave the line...she's 90! She has a pin on her jacket that tells everyone she's 90! She skies for free anyway! Nope. Kicked out. When I heard this story, I have to admit I laughed pretty hard. She was in good spirits ...

Day two was a little bit like day one, and I have no problem with that.

It was another early start to the day, however this morning came with a few more aches and fatigue than yesterday. No matter, we were determined to be the first on the lift and get first tracks.

We ate our breakfast quicker than usual to get to mountain as fast as possible. We thought the first chair was at 8:00 a.m., so ...
