Well, got to Glasgow about 12.30 pm local time.
Going through customs was a breeze compared to going between NZ and Aus. Just filled out a simple form and walked through. No space on the form to declare anything (which I didn't have anyway.) Got met by Matt, my driver. The car was a Mercedes, lovely :)

We got our burgers, and thanks to my bloody upbringing, I sat there like a goof for a couple minutes trying to work out the best way to eat a burger without making myself look like a complete dag in front of this classy lady.

Our sunny days seem to have left us and today is overcast and cold. Esther, Bob, Gwen and Iven caught their train south to spend a few days in York. Doug and I also headed to Waverley Station but we went west to Glasgow. We were booked on the 10 am train but were early and caught the 9.45 instead.
