5 Star Stay at 10 Fitch
Our stay at 10 Fitch was exceptional from start to finish. We were greeted by Jay with a warm welcome followed by a tour and history of the restored inn. The grounds are beautiful. Guests can sit on one of the quaint patios and enjoy the garden view. Every room is immaculately kept and decorated with exquisite detail. The breakfast each morning was delicious! Katie and Jay went above and beyond our expectations as hosts. Cozy fires, wine, day-trip assistance and a 4:00 a.m. breakfast buffet set out for us (for our early start that day) were just a few of the thoughtful extras provided.
Thanks Jay and Katie! We can't wait to come back.
The most Amazing weekend at 10Fitch
We have just returned from an absolutely perfect weekend at 10 Fitch. The decor is gorgeous, the rooms are immaculate and cozy, and Katie and Jay had a way of making us feel like we were the only people in the house. My fiance chose 10 Fitch as the setting for his proposal, and I could not have asked for more. Katie and Jay went above and beyond to help Tim plan a picture perfect weekend by recommending restaurants, booking activities for us to do while in Auburn, and even setting the stage for the proposal by placing flowers, champagne and strawberries in our room for our return. Amazing! Words cannot express our gratitude! We were blessed to share such a special moment in our life together there. I HIGHLY recommend 10 Fitch and cannot wait to return myself!
My husband and I stayed at 10 Fitch for our 1st Anniversary. We were very impressed with how clean the rooms were and cannot say enough about the decor. Truly first class. Katie, the Innkeeper, was extremely helpful in providing directions to the wineries and offered an amazing place for dinner - Mirbeau. The only drawback is the distance to the wineries. It took us about 25-30 minutes, which overall isn't too bad, but we had to watch how much tasting we did since we were driving. My recommendation would be to rent a limo so you can enjoy yourself.
we stayed in auburn n.y. at 10 fitch b&b and were very happy. the hosts were great, the breakfast great, the decorating was amazing. i would definetly recommend it. linda& brad simon

Along with the stay i recieved a beautiful vase of roses waiting for me when I arrived only one of the great suprises that I recived. My husband contacted Katie(The Inn Keeper) she arranged wine tasting for me and my husband. 10 fitch truly is an elagant bed and breakfast. I would recomend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing and beautiful trip!
High standard Guest House
Along with my wife and daughter, I very much enjoyed the hospitality of our hosts at 10 Fitch. It is a superb house and we felt spoiled by the personal attention. Strongly recommend.
We recently spent 2 glorious nights at this superb B&B in Auburn, New York. It is simply the most elegant, well managed B&B we have ever experienced. Gorgeous rooms, so spacious; the fixtures, appointments, decor, and all the details throughout this restored home are exquisite. Delicious cooked to order breakfasts and the most charming, friendly hosts. As you can tell, we enjoyed every moment and 10 Fitch is so close to all the Finger Lakes - the perfect place to stay in this region. Centrally located to the many outstanding wineries. Our hosts assisted us in planning our wine tasting and touring and made all restaurant reservations for us at equally superb restaurants in the area. A definite 'must'....a perfect 10!
High-Class, Luxurious B&B
We stayed at 10 Fitch to go see the Finger Lakes winery region of NY state. My wife and I absolutely loved it. The pictures on their website do not lie!!! There proximity to the wineries and other sites is perfect. Auburn is a small city that is surrounded by beautiful scenic countryside. 10 Fitch is in the Historic District and surrounded by many big old mansions. We visited the Seward House down the street which was very interesting. We ate at Mirbeau on Katie's recommendation and had an amazing dinner. Breakfast was excellent as well, she made us Gran Marnier French Toast with loads of fresh strawberries on it. Highly recommend this spot as a romantic and luxurious getaway!
Most elegant place we have ever stayed!!!
10 Fitch is Fabulous!!!! From the moment we were greeted at the door we felt as though we were royalty. We checked in and got a tour of the Inn and were served some lovely hors douerves and wine. We stayed in the English Suite which has a bathroom that is simply amazing! Breakfast was excellent and Jay's entertaining humor kept us giggling. Location was great...convenient to wineries and Historic sites in Auburn. Took a walk to the Seward House only a few blocks away. Highly recommend...Worth every cent. Look forward to another visit soon.
The Perfect Weekend Getaway!
I was looking for a weekend getaway for Valentine's Day this past February, for my wife and I. In the past I haven't had the best of luck finding a Bed and Breakfast that provided the things my wife and I want in a romantic retreat. Well fortunetaly I stumbled across 10 Fitch! From the moment we walked in the door we both knew this was going to be a special stay! We were greeted by Katie and Jay who instantly made us feel special and at home.
The first thing you notice about 10 Fitch is the beautiful decor, every room looked like a photo out of a magazine, meticulously clean and stunningly elegant. Katie and Jay have an incredible eye for detail, and more importantely they know how to make their guest feel pampered and appreciated! We stayed in the beautiful Equestrian Suite, where we were treated to two glasses of wine and a variety of appetizers each day. When we returned our first night from dinner, we were provided with a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies, I told you great attention to detail!
Katie is a fantastic cook, our breakfast each morning were delicious and just what you would expect from an elegant place like this, because the presentation was as dramatic as the beautiful rooms of this inn!
If you are like myself, it's important that your host know how to allow you to relax and give you the space you would like on a special weekend, but at the same time know how to help you enjoy your stay. Katie and Jay helped us with dinner reservations, and were very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas of Auburn, Syracuse, and Skaneateles, they were always there to lend a hand.
Finally, we can't wait to return to 10 Fitch, especially in the spring or summer so we can enjoy their beautiful gardens. As much as we would like to keep this our little secret, we always find ourselves telling friends what a wonderful stay we had at 10 Fitch, and the friends we made in Katie and Jay!
10 Fitch should be at the top of your list, only if you want to be pampered and treated like a king, in the surroundings of pure elegance! It's already at the top of my list!

Saturday, August 9th On the way to Auburn, NY
We got an early start of around 8:30 this morning, weather was looking good and it was fairly warm. The kitties did not send us off with a nice good by.
We took Route 90 all the way. After leaving MA, the New York Rt. 90 is similar in landscape, then it got to be very country. Two lane highway in each direction. We paralleled the Erie Canal for quite a way. Very interesting as we ...
Heading back to Milford, where Jack is close to, we stayed at Cortland. On the way there we called into a beautiful spot where there is a waterfall that dates back to the end of the ice age. These falls have eroded the gorge 1000M approx into the hillside since then. The walk is flat and takes only 15 minutes to reach the water fall, a beautiful walk surrounded by shale slopes growing lots of trees.
Left about 8:00 AM and crossed Oneida Lake. About 25 miles with rough water to start with but calmer as we reached the western end of the lake. Saw s kayak with a sail on our way. Docked at Cold Springs Harbor Marina for the next several days since it is near Kevin's daughter, Allie's, house. Had dinner on the boat with Allie and her boys. Hoping we can see the fireworks from ...
... my 21st birthday occurring at midnight into the 18th. Not that it matters much being twenty-one in Europe with the drinking age being eighteen, but why should I have to miss out on a night of free drinks? Amanda fit a big ribbon proclaiming that it was my birthday, and a shot-glass necklace for me in the small backpack she brought over. I think this means she loves me.

We made an early morning decision to leave Seneca Falls for Lyons. Nick and Lina really wanted to do a stretch of the Erie Canal. The only problem was what to do with Lina's car. Nick came up with the plan to ride one of our dock bikes from Lyon to Seneca Falls to get it and bring it to Lyon. ...
