... accurately, alleys, twist & turn every 10 m apparently to fool the pirates. It was quite windy & coolish so we returned to the waterfront & had another drink & a plate of the best fried squid that we have ever tasted. Luckily for us the wi-fi worked well so we all caught up on correspondence etc.

... 447 chapels in Mykonos, population of 3500, 3 or 4 priests. The priests are called upon to celebrate "Name Day" at the persons selected chapel. Name day is more important than your birthday, you invite guests to the chapel and serve wine and food, which are the gifts which they bring, or you take them out to your own home. Name days are to be remembered and taken seriously. If you forget someone's name day you will not be spoken to again!
... and not too expensive. Some excursions are included, some aren't. However! The food in the buffet is nothing to write home about. The cakes are tasteless, the fruit selection is small and either not ripe or bumped and soft. The drinks are watery. If you get hungry outside of the restaurants opening hours, fx during the day, too bad. There is a small fitness centre with a few machines and very little space for mat/ball ...

I was reminded of Pippin while enjoying the harbour view - there was a dog at one of the homes on the harbour who would bark at every person who swam past 'his' house. Tonight we went to a small village further inland for dinner at Plakostroto Taverna. Located in the village of San Michalis, the taverna overlooks the sea towards Andros. ... ordinary we ended up scoring pretty well…by the end of the cruise, we may even win a game. (yeh, right Mikes!) After the game we made our way down for the ‘Commonwealth Brunch’ in the Manhattan Dining Room.
We then moved back up to the ‘Crow’s Nest’ for our second instalment on ‘Mixology’ where our barman, Louis, teaches us three cocktails and we get to drink them. (its a lot of fun and Louis quotes very amusing toasts ...
