... sat outside on the bow of the boat, the Greek Waters Pilot open in front of me. One option was to clean the filter as G had proposed and to go to Parikia hoping that we would get there with a working engine. Yet the chance that the engine would only work temporarily seemed too large and approaching Parikia without an engine (and possibly no wind) was too risky: a current towards the rocks in front of the bay had caused many ships to sink in the past, including the ...

Tonight we went to a small village further inland for dinner at Plakostroto Taverna. Located in the village of San Michalis, the taverna overlooks the sea towards Andros. The tiny church in the village has amazing views of Tinos and Mykonos. Our hotel's owner, Yannis ...

... 2 Canadians and of course our 2 Greeks, Anna & Yanni. It was a great evening, thank you Anna & Yanni. Anna and her staff put out a very nice breakfast each morning that we enjoyed. Only recommendation would be to alter the breakfast hours slightly. It is tough to make breakfast by 10:30 when one gets to sleep so late every night.
You also don't want to miss Greek Night. If you're lucky enough to be staying there when Anna and Yanni ...
