... paying no attention to the rules of geometry established not far away from here by Pythagoras around 550 BC. They twist and turn and burst out suddenly into a garden of oleander in a tiny hidden square, or end abruptly in a totally unexpected dead end, or suddenly morph into a set of steps leading to someone's little blue door or disappear tantalisingly round yet one more corner. ... are amazing shades of blue and crystal clear. I was reminded of Pippin while enjoying the harbour view - there was a dog at one of the homes on the harbour who would bark at every person who swam past 'his' house. Tonight we went to a small village further inland for dinner at Plakostroto Taverna. Located in the village of San Michalis, the taverna overlooks the sea towards Andros. The tiny church in the village has amazing views of Tinos and Mykonos. Our hotel's owner, Yannis ...
