    Drove to Liverpool and eventually found the correct area of Seaforth Docks to hand over the Boomer. All very casual, no receipt!! We had great difficulty understanding the thick Scouse accents, but we managed. Hopefully the Boomer sails for Baltimore on Saturday.

    So today we arrive in Picton having diverted from our original port of Akaroa to avoid cyclone Pam currently blowing itself out down the east coast of NZ.     ... what's customary. I should google it. There's not tax on anything though which is awesome. What I do have a gripe about is carrying around these heavy pence and pound coins. Anyone who hates change will feel me on this. The coins are confusing, they're heavy and there's a coin for 2 pence. That's like the US still using the 2 cent coin. WHY? Unnecessary. Problem is, is that yesterday I had 6 coins in my hand that totaled about $9USD. That's enough change to buy me 2 ...
