Island in the middle of a Lake: Bled
Early in the morning we went to the salt fields. Since it was the off season there weren't any workers there but it was still really cool to see. We got to take a tour with our guide (who showed us the whole city throughout the week) and see a video with the process of how the salt is harvested. Summer Toboggan
... off round a few bends. Then had time for a drink at the bottom of the slopes in the crisp sunshine before setting off for the airport.
Stopped briefly on the way at Bled for a last wander round the lake and a last bit of cake! Once we reached the airport we had a little picnic on the grass outside, where I'm sure I saw a rat/vole thing, before checking in and jetting home.

Bovec rafting

Once finished we transferred back to Bovec and then began our drive towards Kranjska Gora. Whilst in the Soca Valley we stopped at a few bridges to observe some different sections of the beautiful river. We then chilled out for a bit on top of the world at Vrsic before making it back to our room. Both pretty shattered we decided on another picnic dinner (also because we probably couldnt stomach another pizza!) and a relaxed evening.

Kranjska Gora Hike
... down skree, not another sole around (probably because we were lost) But eventually came out somewhere that looked remotely like a possible hiking track and followed this. It took us up to a road before then cutting back down into the forest and heading back in the direction from which we started.
