After staying out until 3am last night we still all managed to get up by 8.45 and out and about by 10 (ish). We walked to Vintgar gorge which had been highly recommended to us by our hostel owner, although she failed to mention the one hour ascent in blistering heat. Shout out to Anna for map reading and leading us all the way there, only helped by a couple of road signs and the occasional local to check that we were on the right track. Stopping halfway at a café was ...

We are staying at our nice quiet campsite for a second night. Wasps aside, and Europe does seem full of them, many drowning in my wine, it's a beautiful peaceful place. Right now we are sitting in our shaded area drinking Macedonian wine. 1.40 a litre (yes a litre). No wonder it kills the wasps. ... it out. He also gave her a bit of tree to put in helmet as a get well soon present. Overall for the activities Emma won the 'most screaming' award. To be in front of Emma was the best place as you could guarantee a laugh at her face/screaming. Later: After the lake we came back to the hostel and are getting ready to go out and do the Bled pub crawl. Pretty sure we will see all the young people that exist in Bled as there is one bar crawl and 4/5 pubs around the ...

... and be stress free- we even got time to eat the provided breakfast although I burnt my toast:( Our train left at 6.50 and without reservations, can't deny that we're living on the edge, we managed to find a cabin and keep it to ourselves the whole journey. We slept most the way, apart from near the end when we saw some beautiful views of Slovenia along the way. We changed our plan of station to get off at, avoiding the 25 minute walk from the ...
