    ... on and helped Teresa. He was even shoveling poo!! He also drank fresh cows milk straight from the udder! He said he wants to be a farmer now :) Due to Mats special request, we had Weinerschnitzel for dinner! After dinner we helped Teresa mould the butter ready to be sold. So much fun! We learnt what happens to the milk once it's collected. 1) it gets separated into cream and milk. 2) the milk sits for a few days to go ...

    ... and had teo ask three people for directions from there! But we found it, and were put straight to work milking the cows! Teresa and the other milk maid, Clara, made a special German dish for dinner (Spätzle) which was amazing! Best Austrian meal yet ...

    ... forced relaxation/reading time, to wait for the pool to open at 3 pm. We were the first (all but one) in the pool area when it opened at 3. Having not had the chance to soak in a bath since we left home (there being only showers available in our hotels after Sydney), I really enjoyed the warm spa.     ... soon after arriving in Bled how the town got it's name. They bleed you dry! It was pouring rain when we got off the bus, so we had to get one of the city's two taxis to take us to our hotel (Kompas Hotel). It cost us 12 euros for a ride that took just 2-3 minutes! And Bob tried to buy a map. It was going to cost 12 euros! We were blessed with the weather though as ...

    ... added almost two hours to our journey time. We didn't care, this will be our last long ride together this year and we had the time to savour it.

    Soon we were at the border with Slovenia, the last place from there to Calais where you need to show your passport. The border guard was a girl of fifteen dressed up in an adults uniform. We are used to policemen looking young so I suppose the border guards can look young too. This child appeared to be all on her ...
