White Cliffs of Dover

This morning I woke on time and after a quick breakfast and a cup of coffeee, I was ready to leave at about 6.45am. The trip to Calais was uneventful; just a few queus and a lot of slow,moving traffic. Having stopped twice on the way for a cup of coffee and a bathroom visit, I arrived at Calais Port at 12.15pm. We left Brugge and headed to Neiuwport
and spent the next 29 miles on the road and then a canal. It rained

We had an early departure from London this morning, and have gotten our second Passport stamps from France this time. We're at the Port of Dover right in the middle if the white cliffs waiting to board the ferry to Amsterdam. It's all very exciting!

It's a little foggy today, but I'm hoping to get a better look at the cliffs from the boat …

A slightly earlier start today (10.30am or so). We drove down to Bodiam Castle. When we were filling up with petrol I found a 10 pound note under our car (about $30!!).
