  • Diving back into childhood at Movie World!

    A day at Movie World really does bring back all the great Warner Bros memories of your childhood! As soon as you walk in you see superheroes,the giant t-rex and the lights of Main Street. Movie World is not just a fun place for kids but a brilliant day out for any fun-loving adrenaline junkie. The roller coasters are a great experience and will definitely get your heart racing! The Scooby-Doo ride is a must and will definitely be a massive surprise, a ride which we expected to be like a childs ghost ride was in fact one of the best rides there and our group of 20 year old students had to go on more than once. Also, the Superman ride is definitely worth the wait. There was a 40minute queue but was extremely fast and thrilling as it hangs you over the top of the drop. A sunny day will provide the perfect setting for the park as it has a brilliant log flume ride which will get you soaked through.

    As for the food available the park was a bit pricey but you could get a hotdog or large roll for just under $10. You could take bags into the park so it is possible to take your own food.

    Finally, what makes Movie World different to the other theme parks is it's unique atmosphere. Children will love it for all their favourite characters walking around ready for photos and adults will enjoy the memory of their own childhood. The big screen at the end of Main Street provides a great place to sit and watch some clips from some old favourites while sat under the shade. The stunt show and the 4D cinema provide yet more activities and to finish it all of there is the parade.

    All in all it was an excellent day and is worth the trip!

  • Scooby Doo surprise

    I think the Scooby Doo ride is a genius idea. We thought it was going to be a tame child's attraction but we were pleasantly proved wrong. Superman literally took my breath away, the green lantern was the strangest coaster I have been on but my winner was the Arkham Asylum, It was fantastic! The shows are great and we had food in the Ricks Cafe buffet, which was really nice and the best value eating we found. My only negative was that we went to this park twice, once in high season and once outside high season. During high season we were queuing for so long for each ride that we couldn't get around to a lot of things. I have been to a lot of theme parks and never seen it nearly so bad, the volume of people there compared to the size of the park was way too much. You will have to expand the park WB!

    this is where i found the greatest ride of all(well at least for me), the scooby doo ride! i was laughing and screaming the whole time and we went back on the line for more! so far i havent found a ride as great as this( havent gone to six flags yet so im keeping this the best for the moment =)

    it's one of the best park i've visited. I recommend this themed park to young adults visitors because they have much more extreme rides than disney. Price is a bit expensive but it's still on the average range of themed park price :-)
