My first day in New York City! I'm so excited. Even though I've only had a few hours sleep, I still wake up around 7. I get organized, and then go downstairs to check out the hotel's free breakfast. Was pretty good! Had some turkey and egg white muffins, some yoghurt and orange juice.

You can't help but get excited when you arrive in New York. The amount of people who have said to me before and on this trip, "oh you will love New York" has been ridiculous. On Friday, the coldest day EVER (well it was a cool -5 degrees), we decided to go check out the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

We got the subway to Lower Manhattan and found our way to Battery Park where the boats leave from.

Today was probably our busiest day as tourists yet!
