    The Blue Hole definitely is not a nature lover's dream, it is a dive like no other. Apart from a few reef sharks there was little to see in regards to flora or fauna. However, there is such a magical feeling being 40m under the water, staring at massive stalactites in such a quiet surreal place. I wouldn't rush back, but it is a must do that all diver's should tick off their list.

  • World famous dive; other dives better than the deep dive

    3 dives for ~USD180 to Lighthouse Reef Atoll. Blue Hole is very deep dive (130ft/40m), but other two dives better. Good life (large pelagics) and viz. Not good place to get certified; go to Honduras

    The Blue Hole was amazing! The boat trip is really long, but it's totally worth it once you get out there.
    We saw the caverns along the walls of the hole and there were sharks as well!

    Blue Hole Scuba Diving

    The Blue Hole was amazing! The boat trip out to the hole was about 3 hours long, so we had to get up early in order to boat there by morning.
    In the hole, we were provided flash lights and were able to explore the caverns along the walls. Eventually, we made it down to 180ft deep! There were sharks following and watching us the entire time.
