    Absolutely amazing architecture and detail in these buildings and temples. Each one is unique and the artwork is out of this world. Must see if you are in Bangkok. Also treat yourself to an iced coffee smoothie on the way out.... very tasty.

    Biaya masuk cukup mahal yaitu sekitar 350 - 400 baht (sekitar Rp. 120.000,00). Tiket nya terdiri atas empat entrance yaitu The Grand Palace, The Temple of Emerald Budha, Queen Sirikit Museum od Textile serta Vimanmek Mansion Museum. Lokasinya strategis, bisa dicapai menggunakan taxi dari kawasan National Stadium (30 menit). Berada dalam satu kawasan dengan patung Budha tidur yang terkenal (Wat Pho). Saat masuk, pastikan kita telah menggunakan pakaian yang rapi termasuk menggunakan bawahan panjang (juga tersedia tempat persewaan). The Grand Palace merupakan suatu tempat yang sangat indah, terdiri atas 34 bangunan serupa candi. Tempatnya terbuka jadi kita harus selalu siap dengan sunblock atau penutup kepala. Walaupun banyak pengunjung, tempat ini masih dijaga ketat keasliannya dan terlihat terawat dengan baik. Queen Sirikit Museum merupakan tempat yang bagus untuk sekedar mendinginkan diri sambil melihat keindahan cara berpakaian raja dan ratu ketika masih muda. Lokasinya yang strategis menjadikan Temples of the Grand Palace sebagai lokasi wajib untuk memulai jelajah kota Bangkok.

    Beautiful Architectureseen a great many palaces and temples in Thailand. I was fortunate to have had a fabulous tour guide (TJ from ThaiTourGuide) to walk me through the history of the King and the western influence. The architecture itself is quite amazing, but very much lacking without understanding the historical significance and cultural influences.

    The price of admission was 500 baht (about $15 CDN).

    I would definitely recommend viewing the palace. Make sure to have a knowledgeable guide with you (preferably one of Budhist background) to ensure you fully appreciate the intimate details.

    Great start to our trip so much history incredible temples and all for a tenner had to borrow trousers as i was in shorts as was jo so skirt for her you pay 200 baht deposit which is returned at end of visit

    Bangkok is famous for its gold and glitter and this place lives up to all the hype. Don't miss it. Loved the Demon Guardians. And all (I mean ALL) the Buddhas.

    Cost 400 baht to get in which is relatively expensive as far as temples go. They were very strict with clothing, a scarf over the shoulders wasn't good enough but they provided overshirts and long trousers for a small deposit of 100 or 200 baht.

  • Royal Glitz and Glamour

    So many much glitz, glamour and intricate detail in one small area, It was beautiful, however I was a little disapointed with the Emerald Buddha which was way too high to see properly but the buildings were beautiful.
