The Szechenyi baths are probably the most popular in Budapest. They are rather expensive, and until the end of my stay in the pools, I didn't realize there were so many other baths further inside (I knew they were there, but couldn't figure out how to get there). The multitude of baths is nice, and they are at varying temperatures, but because of the sheer number of people, the water is not the cleanest, and it can be crowded. Outside was nice, other than having to walk out in your bathing suit in the cold. I also think I would have enjoyed it more if it wasn't so expensive. That being said, one elderly gentleman I spoke to, has a yearly membership, because he felt these are the best in the city.
