I love sharks. And the Sydney aquarium has plenty of them. They had so many features it took me over 90 minutes to walk through, view the fish and take plenty of photos (without a flash, of course). They have a couple of different areas where you can walk through a glass tunnel and see fish, shark, manatee and sting rays swim all around you.
I was most pleaded with their common theme of conservation and environmental sustainability. They had many learning bits that spoke on the different things we can all do to help the fish. My personal takeaway will be avoiding plastic straws when possible. They are a small and insignificant change to my own life that will have a massive impact to the beaches and creatures of the ocean.
Definitely worth the $40 admission. You can save more if you choose to add another attraction such as the zoo, Madame Tusands, or military museum
