You can't help but get excited when you arrive in New York. The amount of people who have said to me before and on this trip, "oh you will love New York" has been ridiculous. The pessimist in me straight away was like "great, New York is going to suck because everyone keeps talking it up". However, New York lived up to its high expectations.
