Stanley Park Vancouver

We've had 2 days here and its easy to see why Vancouver always is amongst the most liveable cities in the world...although below Melbourne in the last survey.
I almost laughed when the tour guide said today that the reason for so many homeless here is that the weather is so mild. Even one keeps saying how warm it is - max of 5 degrees C.

We got on the hop-on hop-off Trolley Bus today and hopped off at Stanley Park. The park is 1000 acres and is named for Lord Frederick Stanley, Governor General of Canada when the park officially opened in 1888. There is loads to do, depending on the time of year, and a 5 mile walk and cycle path all around the sea wall.
