The Tide was high

Walked out along the causeway to this ancient monastery now private estate of Lord Leven and managed by the National Trust. But the tide was rising and so I retreated lest I be stranded. A picturesque site with brooding prominence and salty seagulls calling over a bouncing grey sea.

As I Was Going To St. Ives......
Can't think of a catchier title than that however we didn't meet a man with seven wives or kits or kats or whatever the nursery rhyme says. We did, however meet with a break in the weather and some beautiful scenery!!
