St. John's College Oxford

What a day. Caught a train to Paddington and then onto Oxford. Only takes an hour on the train and it was a lovely peaceful journey. We jumped straight on the hop-on/hop-off bus and cruised about Oxford, what a fabulous town, so much history, beautiful architecture, stunning streetscapes.

We jumped off the bus a couple of times and …

... but still stands in its original form as a piece of history. It also contained the Sheldonian Theatre, Trinity College, Balliol College, and St. John's College. Most of these buildings were off limits to the public so were not too sure what's in them ...

... Church Cathedral is  the only church in the world to be both a cathedral and a college chapel.  We visited St. John's College as well, but didn't have luck at two others; Worcester College was closed, and we never actually found the entrance ...
