We spent a wonderful afternoon exploring St. Giles', a welcome break from the hustle and bustle on the High Street. St. Giles' is a beautiful, peaceful place to visit and explore! The stained glass windows, sculptures, and especially the Thistle Chapel offer a sample of art meeting history. It was easy to spend more than an hour taking in details and snapping photos. There is a very nice gift shop at the back of the church where you are asked to pay a small fee for the privilege of taking photos, fees support the church.
It was well worth the donation and the time spent wandering inside!
