Standing at 777 feet (237 meters) on Namsan Mountain, the N Seoul Tower is worth visiting, mainly for views of Seoul. Sometimes called the Namsan Tower, but more commonly known as Seoul Tower.
Getting there can be a bit of a workout. From the Myeongdong Metro stop, you will have to walk uphill. Then come to a point where you have the option to continue on by foot, or ride the cable car. I recommend the cable car, since it saves time, and kind of fun to ride.
Once you get off the cable car, there is a little bit more walking uphill. You are there, once you pass the smoke stacks. You buy a ticket and get zipped to the top on an elevator.
Once at the top of the tower, you get nice views of the city, the Han River, and the mountains in the background. The recommended time to visit is before sunset, so you can see Seoul in 3 different ways. Very nice to see.
Plus you can see how far, various cities around the world in all directions, are from Seoul. In the level below, there are shops and a revolving restaurant.
Only drawback is that the observation deck is completely encased, which may make it difficult for some to take photographs through the glass.
Also, not really worth going on a foggy day, since you won't be able to see much. So definitely save it for a sunny day!
